When people choose a boat tour in Madeira, they are not simply looking to see the ocean. They want to feel it. That is exactly why we use the Tahoe Q7 for our tours.
This is not a large tourist yacht or a commercial vessel carrying dozens of passengers. The Tahoe Q7 offers a completely different experience. Thanks to its compact size, it allows you to get closer to the water and experience the ocean as it truly is.
As the boat glides along Madeira’s coastline, there is no distance between you and the Atlantic. You hear the waves alongside the hull, feel the ocean breeze, and admire the island’s famous cliffs from almost water level. This is the feeling that brings many visitors to Madeira.
At approximately 6.2 metres (20 feet) in length, the Tahoe Q7 combines comfort with agility. The boat is certified for up to nine people, but on our tours two places are always reserved for the captain and crew member. This means we welcome no more than seven guests on board, creating a relaxed and private atmosphere without feeling crowded.
The layout is one of the boat’s greatest strengths. Comfortable seating is arranged to encourage conversation, relaxation, and uninterrupted enjoyment of the surrounding scenery. The central area is ideal for drinks and light refreshments, while the overall configuration makes the boat equally suitable for romantic sunset cruises, family outings, or time spent with friends.
The Tahoe Q7 has more than enough power to cruise confidently along the coastline and, in favourable conditions, can reach speeds of over 65 km/h (40 mph). However, speed is never the goal of our tours.
Most of the time, we cruise at a comfortable and relaxed pace. This allows guests to fully appreciate the scenery, take photographs, observe marine life, and simply enjoy being on the water. Madeira is not an island that should be rushed past. It is a place that invites you to slow down, look around, and enjoy every moment.
Another advantage of the Tahoe Q7 becomes clear during swimming stops. Thanks to its low profile and convenient swim platform, getting into the water and back on board is easy and comfortable. In these moments, the ocean becomes more than just a backdrop. It becomes part of the experience itself.
